P. Boris Bobrinskoy (1925-2020), child of Russian emigration and French-speaking thinker, left his mark on contemporary theology with his masterful work on the Holy Spirit, a rediscovery that he pioneered in the West. Engaged in ecumenical dialogue, he was able, through his person and his service as priest and preacher, to bear witness to high oriental spirituality. Protopresbyter of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, rector of the crypt of the Holy Trinity at Saint-Alexandre-Nevsky Cathedral in Paris, Boris Bobrinskoy is the author of a considerable work published in Cerf, including The Mystery of the Trinity, The Father’s Compassion, Liturgical Lifeet The Mystery of the Church.
