Coming from the village and neighboring towns, but also from “in town” – Ramonville, Saint-Orens or Toulouse, for example -, and even from the bordering departments of Ariège or Tarn-et-Garonne, the readers found themselves numerous, Sunday, at the Corronsac Book Fair. More than 220 entries were recorded during the afternoon, giving this 9th edition the absolute attendance record for the show! Among the visitors were even the deputy Jacques Oberti and the mayor of Vigoulet-Auzil (recent capital of historical thriller) Jacques Ségéric, who accompanied Thierry Ouplomb, the mayor of Corronsac, who came to meet the authors.
There were also many of them – around thirty – and the diversity of their proposals: novels, essays, poetry, documentaries, art Books, comics, mangas, albums… delighted the large audience. An audience who also happily took advantage of the activities that punctuated the afternoon: writing workshop, conference, author interviews and, for the youngest, games and kamishibai stories offered by the association's volunteers. Around the School.
Cécile Caro and Linda Fines, from the association “Corronsac, vivre bien ensemble”, the kingpins of the event, can rejoice: in the village hall transformed into a literary salon, the authors were there. , exhibitors and the public too.
Some great meetings took place. The page that is turning is ready to open with the tenth edition, a landmark edition!
