Exchanging for new ones with Troc'Livres is what 1 offersis Troc'Second-hand books set up at the media library Over the Pages de Vivier-au-Court by Marianne Devay, the librarian. An easy, economical and eco-friendly way to read new titles all year round. The principle is simple: rather than letting your books gather dust on a shelf, why not exchange them for others.

Tickets for books

« From November 6 to 19, 2024, During the media library's opening hours, participants can drop off books they no longer need. They must be in good or very good condition and if possible fairly recent, to be of interest to other participants. It is possible to deposit a maximum of 1 to 15 books per person, in exchange for which 1 to 2 tickets per book will be given, depending on the state. On Wednesday November 20 between 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. the Troc'Livres will take place which will allow depositors to obtain other books in exchange for tickets. explains Marianne Devay.

Books for children, teenagers and adults are accepted: novels, detectives, docs, comics, mangas, albums… but not magazines. Books deposited which will not be exchanged on the day of the exchange cannot be returned. They will be donated to an association. Unredeemed tickets can be used for a future edition.
