The accessibility of Generative Artificial Intelligence represents new data. Doesn't it threaten IT jobs?
From the discovery of the concept from France, through the creation in the middle of a pandemic of a “42 Lausanne” school in Renens, the first in Switzerland, to the first graduates in May 2024: This is the adventure told by Christophe Wagnière and Serge Reymond, respectively director and president of “42 Lausanne” in a work published at the end of October, which Time was able to read exclusively.
The 42 concept, created in 2013 in Paris by billionaire Xavier Niel and which today has 54 campuses in 31 countries, is often talked about for its pedagogy as innovative as it is divisive: without courses or teachers, but with students working through projects and with their peers. The school is free and open to everyone aged 18 and over, with no diploma required. The certificate obtained is not recognized by the State, but it benefits from a certain notoriety. Politicians had not looked very favorably on the arrival of the establishment in Renens, describe the authors who are taking shots at the left in the work.
