Nicole and Emilie from the Gourdan-Polignan media library are organizing a cultural evening “books and bubbles” in the association room on Saturday June 8 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year they invited 10 comic book authors and illustrators.

Author Nanie Bai will probably talk about the first volume of a new 5-volume saga “Pest Hunters”. Grégory Chanfreau the historical novelist from Comminges. He travels the territory looking for clues about forgotten sites. Perhaps he will tell us more about volume 2 of “The Silence of Carnyx”! Frédéric Medrano works on comics but also in documentary books. Sabrina Dolle from Mauléon-Barousse will come to present her books of deep sensitivity. Sandrine Marino author and artist in plastic expressions.
Bernard Velasco known as Bévé, this great press cartoonist whose comic strips do not lack humor, his comic style appeals to young people as much as adults. Alain Grand, passionate about drawing and creator of comic strips. Christian Staebler illustrator and graphic designer, he has illustrated around thirty practical books.
A cultural evening in a good mood, with meetings and discussions with authors. A first edition which will play on the diversity of genres with great stories.
Free entry, like the raffle, an aperitif is offered by the municipality and can be served outside if the weather permits. The evening is extended by a Spanish inn style meal. Bring something savory or sweet and don’t forget plates, glasses and cutlery.
