It was the event of the weekend for fans of thrillers and investigations: Saturday and Sunday, the detective book fair was back at the Douarnenez village hall. For this 3rd edition, around twenty authors were there, all from Brittany, particularly Finistère. In total, just over 300 people visited the show. A record which delights the boss of the Maison de la presse de Douarnenez, Mikaël Gloaguen, who is in charge of organizing the event: “I am very happy! This edition confirmed the success of the show with authors who appreciate its friendly and family setting. Everyone says that in Douarnenez, the relationship with readers is not the same, that there is a little something extra… I am particularly delighted with the readers’ thanks.”
This year, the sales were particularly by three authors: Pierre Pouchairet, Françoise Le Mer and the local l’tape, Youenn Kergoat. “We sold a lot of Books,” confirms Mikaël Gloaguen, already in the starting blocks for the next edition: “Why not organize a murder party or welcome a well-known public figure like Olivier Marchal… I I have lots of ideas, we’ll see which ones come to fruition! »
