This is not the best known facet of the poet and painter born in (Finistère) in 1876. With his friend Conrad Moricand, they were astrology enthusiasts. Their book “Mirror of Astrology” has just been republished.

As we celebrate the hundredth anniversary of surrealism, one of these representatives – and not the least important – is once again being talked about. This is the poet and painter Max Jacob born in Quimper (Finistère) in 1876, died in 1944 during deportation in (Seine-Saint-Denis). With his friend the astrologer Claude (real name Conrad Moricand), they discussed the subject at length.
