After the success of his first three children's , a new one born from the pen ofAlain Nicolas, of Verneuil-sur-Avre (Eure) has just been published. Willy the Little Cloud does not spoil this pretty collection written and illustrated by the author, also founder and honorary president of the Vernolian BMX club.

Discover the sky

After the countryside, the rivers and the forest, we set off with this new opus to discover the ciel. As in the previous ones, Alain Nicolas puts himself in the shoes of a small character to tell beautiful stories while explaining how the nature to children who will be able to discover here the solar system, the formation of rainbows or the strange names of clouds, cumulus, nimbostratus or cumulonimbus.

Madeleine by Proust

In addition to the quality of the writing and drawings made in pastel, there emerges from these books a sweet flavor evocative ofchildhood. Like the madeleine of Proust, the author writes and draws stories inspired by the happy life of a little boy, born fifth in a family of twelve children.

A taste for simple things

Of this close-knit and warm family, Alain Nicolas keeps fond memories which he now shares with his little readers to pass on to them without pretension, the taste for simple things and his love of nature which “if one is attentive and humble , reveals itself to be an infinite source oflearning and discoveries ».
