The All Saints school holidays have started on Saturday, October 19 and will continue until classes resume on Monday, November 4. During these holidays, children can choose to go to the leisure center or watch TV, but this time is also conducive to discovery, or to the rediscovery of reading/escape which is a break of relaxation and pleasure at middle of school activities and TAP (Extracurricular Activity Time).
Yes, by taking advantage of these few days for children to discover reading outside of the school context, this allows them to discover reading as a simple pleasure which allows them to escape and travel on the paths of the imagination, this which suggests that they draw, paint, and write, activities that are enriching for the mind.
Without forgetting the benefits of reading, because, yes, reading facilitates language acquisition, it allows the child to develop their listening skills – when adults read for the youngest! – and also his ability to concentrate and nourish his imagination.
And where to find suitable Books? At the Pujols municipal library, of course, where, under the expert advice of Romain Boissié, the librarian, children will be able to choose books to borrow or read on site.
