Be careful, however, of the book that your child will dissect this evening: an early learning activity book sold in all stores The Great Recreation of France is recalled. It presents a choking hazard for toddlers.

The product in detail

In detail, Rappel-conso.gouv.fr, which relays the alert, therefore evokes a “plush activity” book. Measuring 11 cm by 11 cm, the latter, intended for “the awakening and development of hearing”, presents different textures for touch as well as various activities such as mirrors or rustling materials.

Identifiable via its barcode 5404031205604, this book, the recall of which concerns all lots, has been sold in all La Grande Récré stores in France for more than a year.

Choking Hazard

It is precisely all these awakening activities which, in fineare a danger for young children discovering new things: some parts may come loose and thus, to be ingested by the toddler.

A risk of suffocation is deplored by the brand, which therefore publishes a recall for its product.
