Last release
The latest book published by Editions Corsaire (June 2024) is “The man in the balaclava” of Régis Guyotatformer journalist at Le Monde and producer at France Culture, living in Orléans.
He speaks in particular of the immigration of men fleeing poverty or the living conditions of their countries of origin, in Orléans during the “Trente Glorieuses”. At that time, France completed its reconstruction and used the strength of the work of these men from elsewhere, recruited locally following the requests of French employers but living in degrading conditions and facing racism and slumlords. .
