To promote social connections and make culture accessible to all, the Les Affluents book festival is organizing two reading sessions on the stairs. A building hall of a senior HLM residence. A few chairs taken out of the apartments and a writer reading in front of the stairwell. This is the winning equation for the second edition of the Pays de la Loire Les Affluents book festival which will officially begin on Friday May 24, in Ancenis-Saint-Géréon.

“Creating connections and collective life”

As a preamble, Wednesday May 15, an operation outside the walls was held in Varades (Loireauxence). Adrien Clemenceau, writer in residence at Maison Julien-Gracq in Saint-Florent-le-Viel (Mauges-sur-Loire) came to share some passages from his travel story with the residents of the building managed by the lessor. .
