Artificial intelligence and the book industry: where are we?

Far from the “big AI story” that has invaded the media, those in the book world have mobilized to defend copyright and obtain European regulations that include its protection. This has in no way prevented them from using new tools based on artificial intelligence, nor from taking an interest in AI solutions dedicated to their professions, which are beginning to appear. The morning of this 25th edition of the Digital Book Conference presents some examples. It will be introduced by Marion Carréco-founder and president of Ask Mona, a company that uses artificial intelligence to improve access to culture.

The afternoon will allow you to discover or delve deeper into the issues linked to the accessibility of digital books (a few months before the entry into force of the European Accessibility Directive) or even to the place of digital technology in libraries.

Since their creation in 2008 by the National Publishing Union, the Digital Book Conference has been an annual meeting dedicated to strategic developments in the publishing sector in the digital age. This professional day is organized with the support of the Sofia a you CFCand brings together more than 400 book professionals in a spirit of sharing.

This free event will be held in person only.
