A new story has just seen the light of day for the author, Marie Kocajda Tanguy. The sixth book in the series Camargue and local traditionsunder Ravasco, the guardian of the Victorin manadepublished in September.

In this adventure, the story is constructed through a question-and-answer game, highlighting the work of the guardian. We can find the same famous characters there, the bull, the horse… which appear in the different scenes, always illustrated by Frédéric Cartier Lange.

The subject of the Camargue is vast, many new stories can still be imagined, Marie Kocajda Tanguy has great ideas for new projects. She takes the time she needs to bring her adventures to life. “I like to live my story”she confides.

The author began creating these books after the arrival of her grandchildren. She had three stories in mind that she would tell them, and that she wanted to put in writing to keep beautiful memories. Her first novel appeared in 2008 and then she released the children’s literature stories. Marie Kocajda Tanguy has also just involved her last grandson, Alexandre, 8 years old. After two years of creations, Baltosaure the dinosaurs and Iva the giraffe was released this month, a beautiful moment of sharing as grandmother and grandson.

Marie Kocajda Tanguy has just participated in the Castries Book Fair as part of Heritage Days with the association Les amis du château, in partnership with the Leclerc bookstore in Saint-Aunes. She will also be present at the Writers’ Fair at the Maison Méditerranéenne des Vins, Saturday October 26, for sales and signings, as well as at the Aubais Pumpkin Day, the Saint-Chaptes Witches’ Market and various markets.
