The event will highlight Jean Louis Pieraggi, renowned expert on the island’s remarkable trees, who will present his works and discuss his work with the public. His books will be available thanks to the support of the La Marge bookstore, which actively participates in the dissemination of local culture.
Scudo Editions will also be present, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the works of their authors and the diversity of their publications. Armelle from Artorial Editions will share her experience in the world of publishing, shedding light on the behind the scenes of the profession.
At the same time, self-published authors will have the opportunity to present their literary creations and meet their readership. This space for dialogue and sharing reflects the diversity of the local literary landscape.
The event will also feature group exhibitions from ABC of Arts 2a and Alata Schools, showcasing the artistic talent of participants of all ages. Activities such as creative workshops, botanical discoveries and fun activities for children will be offered throughout the day.
Documentary screenings and the broadcast of the animated film “The Lorax” will raise public awareness of environmental issues, in accordance with the central theme of the day.
Finally, a “Free Culture” space will allow everyone to access books and musical media, thanks to the contribution of the Afa media library and Cultura.
