There are watch enthusiasts who only swear by Rolex, car enthusiasts who only think of Mercedes and, among photographersthe unconditional fans of Leicathe German brand, symbol of the camera aristocracy.

The happy owners of this legendary case can send their most beautiful photos to the Leica Fotografie International website. A jury select the Pictures which are published each month on the online gallery, and the “Master shots” or favorites of the jury are included in the International Fund collection.

In addition to this site, Leica addicts have their magazine, Viewfinderpublished in the United States and broadcast worldwide. The editorial board of this magazine spotted the selected photos of Karine Nowak and asked her to present her photographic practice in an issue.

The landing beaches in the lens

There Cherbourg photographer has been using Leica since 2007 and works in close association with her husband Serge. She chose to present images taken on the landing beaches. Brought together under the title “Infinite Blue”, they will give an international superb image of the coastline of Manche and Calvados.

Karine and Serge mischievously explain: “The common thread of our work is blue! » They like the special light captured on sunny days, when the sea recedes and the sand still saturated with water creates a mirror effect. If there is also a little wind, it generates a vaporous side, producing strange aberrations.
