Since his arrival at the libraryAunay-sur-Odon (Les Monts d’Aunay), in , Wilfried Ménager decided to do some tri in the books.

After weeding, that is to say the act of removing old books in order to replace them with new ones, he proceeded on two dates, Saturdays September 21 and 28, 2024, with a sale to the public of these works.

We weeded about 4,000 pounds. These are books that are too old, have not been out for a long time and are overloading the shelves. For the moment, these are only books that were visible to the public, we have not yet touched the basement.

Hundreds of books find buyers

More than 1,500 books had already found buyers on the first Saturday. To which must be added approximately a thousand othersthe second.
