Around thirty authors will present books of all genres: biographies, novels, history, legends, thrillers, fantasy and books for young people. Around thirty painters will also be present and will each exhibit five works.
“Award presentations will close the show. Three will be awarded to the favorite works: the association prize (€50), the Balleroy municipality prize (€100) and the Isigny-Omaha intercom prize (€200),” explains Liliane Grimaux, member of the association.
At the same time, Balleroy s’moving will host an exhibition of mannequins dressed in paint, beads, corks or buttons, by the Molystrian artist, Michel Delamare.
The association organized a poetry competition on the theme of the Olympic Games. Students from the schools of Balleroy, Saint-Paul-du-Vernay, Le Tronquay and Cormolain took part. Each student wrote an illustrated poem about sport. This work will be exhibited in the gymnasium during the show.
3rd edition of the Balleroy Book and Painting Fair is moving. Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, at the intercommunal gymnasium of Balleroy-sur-Drôme. Free admission.
