After a trip of more than a year to Radio 2Kim Van Oncen returns to her ‘old’ love: acting. The Kapelse will soon make her appearance in At homeThe actress and presenter announced this herself on Friday morning. Radio 2.

“For a year I have had the privilege of waking up the most beautiful audience in Flanders Together with a great team. But… to be honest: acting is and remains my great passion”, Van Oncen announced her departure from the country’s largest radio station at the beginning of February. For over a year she presented the morning block there alongside Peter Van de Veire. “I felt the itch. Now even more so, because I have received some great offers. I can’t reveal more for the time being, but unfortunately I cannot combine my television work with ‘Goeiemorgen morgen!’.”

Six months later, she can finally reveal exactly what the great offer is. In the popular VRT soap opera At home she will play the role of yoga teacher Lyn. “The viewer will get to know yoga teacher Lyn as a cheerful, social and empathetic woman, but it will soon become apparent that she also has a dark side,” said Van Oncen, who developed a love for the profession with the series Thirty-somethingson Radio 2. “She carries a secret from her past with her and that will cause commotion and tension in the series.”

Fans of Kim will have to be patient for a little while longer. Her character Lyn will not appear in the soap until next Tuesday.
