Nicole Kidman Channels Her Inner Vixen in a Crystal Gown With a Diving Neckline

You just know it’s gonna be a good day when Nicole Kidman sets foot on a red carpet.

Following an incredible run of looks at the Venice Film Festival and the Paris Olympics, the Academy Award–winning actor delivered more red-carpet glamour on Wednesday evening at the Los Angeles premiere of her new Netflix series, The Perfect Couple.

This time, Kidman looked ravishing in a slinky halterneck gown with a diving V-neckline, made out of shimmery crystal-studded fabric. The espresso-colored outfit injected new life into the sheer trend, with her figure scarcely visible underneath. For a modest touch, the actor added a polished black tuxedo jacket, which she mostly posed with on the red carpet by carrying it in one hand or letting it hang off a single shoulder.

To complete the look, Kidman also wore gold stud earrings and black leather slingback pumps from Paris Texas.

Kidman recently turned heads again at the 81st annual Venice Film Festival, where she attended the premiere of Babygirlan A24 film billed as a sex-positive thriller. She opted for another shimmery moment via a sequined and sculptural strapless gown pulled from Schiaparelli’s Fall/Winter 2024 couture collection.

The one-of-a-kind dress featured a corseted, champagne bodice with a gauzy bust and a sequined fringe waistline, studded with black star-shaped beads. The bottom half of the look consisted of a figure-hugging skirt made of black velvet, which perfectly coordinated with her pair of black velvet stiletto pumps.

She also writes on social movements, connecting with activists leading the fight on workers’ rights, climate justice, and more. Offline, she’s probably spending too much time on TikTok, rewatching Emma (the 2020 version, of course), or buying yet another corset.
