The MotoGP™ field had one last opportunity to prepare on race day at the Gran Premio Red Bull di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, with Franco Morbidelli (Prima Pramac Racing) claiming top honours in the 10-minute session. The Italian clocked a strong 1:31.687 after an impressive run – topping the session on his final lap. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) had an eventful morning, suffering from early technical issues – pulling off the circuit at Turn 8. The Gresini team were running a special livery on Sunday, with the #93 finishing the session in second. It was tight at the top with Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) securing third spot, a mere 0.118 adrift from top honours.

Aprilia Racing’s Maverick Viñales was fourth, sporting a new helmet design this weekend, which was designed in a competition on the MotoGP™24 videogame. Behind the #12 and rounding out the top five, continuing a remarkable weekend was Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ Team), with the Frenchman starting from 10th today. Further back, polesitter Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), ended the morning in 10thwith the Italian setting sights on glory this afternoon.
