On September 2, Warren Zaïre-Emery posted a photo captioned “back to school day” on Instagram. It was not a question of returning to high school for the 18-year-old midfielder, but of arriving at Clairefontaine. Didier Deschamps called up the Parisian and offered him his fourth selection against Italy.

Warren Zaire-Emery is not done with school yet. Aged 18, he was originally supposed to take his STMG (science and technology of management and management) baccalaureate this summer. But he was able to get his exam rescheduled due to his selection for Euro 2024.

“I asked to take my baccalaureate in September to be more relaxed,” “WZE”, wearing a suit, told the 8pm news on TF1, assuring that he wanted to “concentrate on football” in the coming weeks.

A young player known to be a good student

According to L’Équipe, his baccalaureate exams were scheduled for this last week of the international break. Known as a good student, the young Parisian should not have too much trouble getting the precious sesame.

On TF1, he also said he hoped to pocket the Euro and his diploma in the space of a few weeks. Unfortunately, the first part of the mission did not succeed.

In Germany, “WZE” had a frustrating tournament. While the Blues barely reached the last four, the Parisian was not given a single minute of playing time. Perhaps he was able to take advantage of his free time in Bad Lippspringe to cram.
