“I was not surprised (defeat), not because I thought she was not qualified, she is completely qualified to be president. But I was not surprised because they (the Republicans) followed the path of sexism, “said former Democratic president of 82 years in an interview with the ABC channel.
“I have never seen such a successful and coherent campaign to refute the idea that a woman could lead the country, and a Métis woman,” he added.
“I think we have also underestimated the phenomenal negative impact that Covid’s pandemic had on people, on attitudes, on optimism, on a whole bunch of things, so I was disappointed, but not surprised,” continued Joe Biden.
The one, on the other hand, denied the accusations on a possible decline during the electoral campaign, which accused his detractors after a failed debate against Donald Trump.
