On the occasion of the Olympic and Paralympic 2025 week, the Sports Service and the Volf’s (Fonsorbes-Seysses volleyball club) offered a day of discovery of seated volleyball, from Seyssois schoolchildren.
Maxime Chouette (coach of the French women’s and male Volleyball Sitting teams) and Frédéric Sarter (trainer and volleyball practitioner seated in the Volf’s club), animated workshops specific to this discipline. The CE1 of the Paul Langevin school and the CE1-CE2 of the Flora Tristan school were made aware of this very fun activity and took a lot of pleasure!
Also, this particularly inclusive para-sport makes it possible to practice together, men and women but also, people with disabilities with valid people.
In short, values around sport and inclusion encouraged by the municipality and relayed by the volleyball club “Volf’s” with its seated volleyball team (only 2 clubs in Haute-Garonne)!
A new discipline that the Municipal Sports School (EMS) takes pleasure in developing and of interest to Seyssois and Seyssoises.
