While Franco Colapinto will now be the new teammate of Pierre Gasly in place of Jack Doohan, Alpine also announced the departure of Oliver Oakes from his main team post. He is replaced by Flavio Briatore, who assured that his departure was not due to a disagreement between them, but to personal reasons.

It is totally false and could not be further from reality. We respect Oli’s resignation request and accepted it. The reasons are not linked to the team and are of a personal nature. »
