In this last day of the championship during which neither of the two teams already maintained had nothing to hope for as much as an additional success, this Sunday, May 4, 2025, Fleury-les-Aubrais (Loiret) took control of the game (8-6; 15-13). Never far away, the chapel-Saint-Aubin, approximate at the end of the set in the block and in defense, left the first round to the players of the Loiret (25-22). None of the two teams was clearly detached in the next but Fleury gave itself a set ball without ultimately being able to prevent Capellaubinois, more incisive in attack and altruistic in defense, to equalize (28-30).
Fleury more solid in decisive moments
Fleury then made the race in the lead (10-7; 14-12) then a good Sarthois passage in the service revived the debates (16-16). More constant in the block and the service, the Loirétans took advantage of a large air hole in reception of their opponents to resume orders for the meeting (25-21). If the players of La Chapelle-Saint-Aubin seemed to mark the occasion (10-4), a dead time by the technician Sarthois Clément Pilon gave consistency to the game of his protégés (10-10; 15-15). Once again, however, the last moments were turning to the advantage of Fleuryssois who, on their first match ball, turned off the hopes of Capellaubinois combative but too inconsistent to be able to get more.
