Jean-Pierre Améris has no equal to stage the small and large sentimental trajectories, the impossible and improbable stories, with people who go from the way, which he films modestly, simply, but with a luminous benevolence. With Do we love alive he still returns to romantic comedy around an unexpected duo, to the contrary stars: Valérie Lemercier and Gérard Darmon. She fofolles, depressed him.
