What is your reaction when Nikos Aliagas announces that you won “The Voice”?
Salvatore : Lots of emotions. It was really teamwork, and then we had a lot of support so we necessarily think of all those people who supported us. We are happy for us, for the coach, for the public, for the family, for everyone.
From the training of this group, you have imposed yourself as the favorites of the competition. Was it a pressure?
Sébastien : We agreed to put ourselves in groups, so we had a challenge that had been launched by Florent Pagny. And we wanted to do things well. Indeed that there is a craze behind and that it adds a little pressure. But the pressure, she was rather in the sense that we wanted to please Florent and also realize our dreams by taking up this challenge.
Levon : The pressure was also on singing three. Because it’s three times more complicated to sing to three, to find good harmonies, to do them well, to agree with three. So it was three times more pressure.

You sang with Florent Pagny during the final. It is this performance which, in your opinion, has tipped the scales?
Salvatore : I would say that it is all the performances in fact. As Florent Pagny told us in rehearsal: “Go thoroughly from the collegiate church”. And then necessarily we start with “Adagio”, so it’s true that we imposed something in play. With Lara Fabian, we imposed something powerful. We started well, even for us!
Levon : It put us in it directly! Of course, the duo with Florent Pagny made us score points. But this “adagio” was a great moment too. A big TV moment with Lara Fabian, with her incredible voice. We knew how to agree with her. We were very proud and very happy with what we produced on Saturday. We were in our sneakers. The only watchword was the pleasure, to live this moment. It is a live final where we shared the scene with great artists, even legends. So it was incredible!
Precisely, a few seconds after your victory, Florent Pagny announced that he would like to have you on his tour …
Sébastien : For the moment, we don’t know much more but he has actually formalized his idea on the set. It is rather a good thing. We are really proud and we realize that it is really an exceptional chance that he gives us.
We feel that you have made a very strong link with him. What is the best advice it has given you?
Levon : To stay ourselves. To believe in what we do. And to sing with the heart. That’s really what we have chosen. He told us a lot, he is very very benevolent Florent Pagny. He is very present. And then he has this pretty paternal and comforting side. But these are the advice that we mainly retained: to sing with the heart.
During the final, you unveiled your first song “A woman” …
Sébastien : It was Thierry de Cara who composed music and Mark Weld who made the lyrics. They were really interested in our three personalities, they asked us lots of questions about our personal life and what was most emerged was the place of women in our lives, the fact that they are really very important and that they punctuate our daily lives. From this that, they made it a text and they offered to put our voices. It was an artistic thunderbolt.
Did this theme be close to your heart more than another, for a first song?
Salvatore : Yes, I think that the theme of women, inevitably we have a very strong link with our mothers, our loved ones, our sisters, our aunts, with all women and it is true that it has kept us to talk about women.
-Compared to the song, how did you distribute the order of the voices as a trio?
Levon : With Thierry and Mark, we were in the studio. They proposed a distribution to us, we looked, we sang and we chose with them the moments when everyone wore the song in certain passages the most, because we have three different colors, three different voices. Some sound better in the bass, others in the treble. It was a team job and we had a short time to do all of this, about a week, but we are happy with the final result!
Have your experiences in other programs allowed you to approach the “The Voice” adventure more serenely?
Levon : Salvatore and I were in a music school last year, the Dalida Institute in Aix-en-Provence. It was there that we passed the casting of the show. We were put in condition for this kind of thing.
Sébastien : I have already made another show, but a long time ago. And then “The Voice” is really a big machine, it’s something else. There, there is really an issue because it is a career accelerator: if we do things well, there is a possibility behind to be able to live from our passion for music. So it’s still a big challenge. But it’s the TV show that is really apart when you want to do song.
Have you ever thought about it and a first album?
Sébastien : Yes, it’s in the pipes.
Levon : In any case, here we started with our first single. Afterwards, of course, we have an album project but we do not yet have a specific date or deadline. But we start to dive a little in it, to think about what we are going to sing … We will see when it will come out, but we thought about it yes!
In the lyric or opera register, unpublished songs are rather rare, unlike the covers taken from great classics. How do you envisage it on your album?
Salvatore : It will be mainly covers, I think. In our own way. It is true that even if we sing opera titles, we keep our colors of voice which are our own. There will be new ones too, but I think that at first there will be a lot of covers re -orchestrated in our own way.
In the columns of “Parisien”, you announce that Florent Pagny will accompany you on your album. What will be his exact role? Will there be a duo?
Salvatore : No, I think that in it is a little too early to talk about it, but we will see. I think he will accompany us on the choice of titles.
Levon : Yeah, it was he who created this trio there. He will give his vision anyway.
Since the trio has formed in a somewhat unexpected way, it is now acted that you continue in trio or will there be solo songs from Sébastien, Salvatore or Levon?
Levon : For the moment, we have really started on a beautiful story with three. We know that there was a craze of the public, on social networks, that there is an expectation … We get along very very well and we like to sing together. And then there was the approval of Coach Florent, the story of the tour … So here we left to sing to three. After in the album, perhaps on a title, one will be more forward than the other. We may think of singing a song to pay tribute to Sicily in Salvatore or north of Sébastien, or to Armenia for me. So we still think about all of this, but in any case we left to be and to sing to three.What is the best memory you keep of this program?
Levon : I think we all agree, the best memory is the moment when we were put in groups and that Florent Pagny was moved during the group test. Regarding the best performance, I would say on the final, I find that we were good. We no longer had the pressure on the semi-final because we absolutely wanted to be in the final to live what we lived on Saturday evening, to be able to share these songs and sing our new song. We were fine, we sang well.
Sébastien : The semi-final was the first time that we sang three as a trio. The final was already the second, the third and the fourth song that we sang three and we felt good.
Are first concerts already in the pipes?
Levon : Not yet. But hey, it can’t be long!
