Very determined, Miles Lambert (formidable James Mcardle), the father of little David, the other little boy “exchanged”, passes to see the couple to explain how they discovered the error, via a test. He is to discussion, but also very enterprising.

Irresistibly attracted

Inspired by the eponymous book of JP Delaney, Grace Ofori-Attah (The chef, the serie) Imagine the number 1 of all parents: the fortuitous exchange of two newborns, revealed long after their departure from maternity. Lied up with bad decisions and predictable slippages, within the couple put suddenly on the hot seat, the intrigue puts the nerves of the spectators with the very test, and perhaps above all, when they are fans of James Norton (Happy Valley), also an executive producer of the mini-series.

If Maddie and Lucy (Jessica Brown Findlay, discovered in Downton Abbey) At the start, try to find common ground regarding , the deaf rivalry between the two fathers quickly undermines any attempt at rapprochement. A delicate situation which soon requires the establishment of mediation, Miles quickly positioning itself in an intransigent alpha male, proud of its successes and its fortune.

Beyond the question of the inversion of children and the painful dilemma that it generates, the intrigue observes the opposite dynamics and the very different personalities that compose them, highlighting the strategies of taking power and manipulations, between families of different social levels. While distilling doubt: is this situation only the fruit of chance or bad luck?

We can easily get caught up in this series with growing suspense provided, however, not to be allergic to the big strings and the red flags which dot this rather intense scenario put in images by Kate Hewitt.
