For almost three months, Adil Rami and the dancer Ana Riera animated the Friday evenings of TF1 by chaining the dances and the good notes. An adventure on which the dancer returned to an interview.
The 14th season of “Dance with the stars” ended on April 25 with a victory for Lénie and dancer Jordan Mouillerac, who finished in front of Florent Manaudou and Adil Rami. The latter, 2018 world champion, still managed to mark the season by discovering himself a real talent for dance, he who nevertheless quipped before the competition that the only sportsman to have succeeded in the dance was called Billy Elliot.
A revelation for the dance that the former OM player owes partly to his partner on the prosecution, Ana Riera, who returned to the months of competition in the company of the champion for “Télé-Loisirs”. “I think that at the beginning, he had mainly come to have fun,” said the dancer who admits that she was not thrown in the final from the start of the adventure. “Adil had never danced, he did not have predispositions to dance well and his concentration rate at the start of the adventure was not very high,” she had fun recalling.

The click finally seems to have come at the time of the Argentinian tango that the couple made on the song “Skyfall” by James Bond and which allowed them to win the first 10 of the season. “We heard really well, I felt like I was with someone in my family,” says Ana who saw the former footballer “falling in love with dance” which represents for her “the most beautiful victory, better than the trophy, better than anything”.

Despite the very beautiful notes distributed by the judges on the evening of the final, Adil Rami and Ana Riera finished in third place in the competition, which, Ana assures it, is not a disappointment: “Adil and I, we are the same on that, we are never disappointed. The most important thing for us is to do the most beautiful performance in the final and I have the impression that this is what we did. »»
Of these months spent dancing together there is now “a friendship that will last for a long time, I hope for life”, the footballer and the dancer intended to stay in touch. “It was really a very family relationship, very brother and sister. He told me all the time ‘you are my third sister’, “says Ana. On the side of Adil Rami, the latter spoke on Instagram to greet “an exceptional dancer, a rare talent partner, a person who knew how to rise, guide me, transform me”.
