The Ouest-France group is preparing its arrival with fanfare on TNT canal 19 on September 1. The press group of western France revealed this Monday the name of its future chain: it will be called Novo19 and “will offer a wide variety of programs: magazine, JT, cinema, sport, fiction, live performance, documentary …”, according to the regional daily.
A few days ago, the future chain then named, announced the broadcast of a 75-minute talk show every evening of the week around 7 p.m. The channel team finally chose to sign a production agreement with Together Media and France.TV Studio, had previously revealed the press group.
Recruits from PAF
This first national channel located in a city of less than a million inhabitants (in Rennes, Ille-et-Vilaine), also revealed its “Dream Team” on Monday. Guénaëlle Troly, the already known director general of the channel, surrounded himself with five other well -known personalities in the Landernau who will work “to offer viewers an offer of programs close to people’s lives”. Coming from BFMTV, RMC Story, the M6 group, or of the Canal Plus group, they will bring their great experience to the future new born.
Camille Moreau, previously Director of the Programming and Antenna Service of the RMC Découverte and RMC Story channels, becomes director of the programs and antenna. Rodolphe Guignard, director of documentary productions and flow programs at RMC Découverte and RMC Story, is appointed director of original production content. Mathilde Escamilla, director of acquisitions, worked for the M6 group. Céline Monsallier, who had participated in 2005 in the launch of BFMTV, was appointed director of the editorial staff. Sofian Biouti, passed by Canal+ and TV Monaco, becomes marketing and communication director.
Novo19 is therefore in working order, like T18, the other new entrants of the Czech billionaire, Daniel Kretinsky, already at the head of the magazines “Elle”, “Télé 7 Jours”, “Marianne”, of the Editis edition giant and holder of participations in the Casino group. These two channels must occupy the channels left vacant by C8 and NRJ12, which had not obtained the renewal of their frequency by the Arch.
