A silent march is organized by the city of Brumath (Bas-Rhin), this Sunday, May 11, in tribute to the three little girls who died in a housing fire on April 26, the municipality announced in a statement published on Facebook.
A moment of meditation
In agreement with the family, the municipal tribute will start at 5 p.m. from the courtyard of the castle to reach the Jardin du Tilleul. A moment of meditation will be organized there at the interreligious space.
-“Participants have the opportunity to wear a white outfit,” said the municipality.
On Saturday April 26, a fire broke out in a home on rue Alexandre Millerand in Brumath. About fifty firefighters, 28 equipment and three lances had been hired to stop the spread of fire to adjacent homes.
Three sisters, aged 6, 10 and 12, had been found in cardiopulmonary arrest by firefighters, before succumbing to their injuries a few days later. The drama triggered a strong emotion throughout the town.
