Very upset Johanna morning
For two seasons, the Finnish cross -country skiing stars Kerttu and Ivo Niskanen have chosen to leave the national team in order to follow their own program.
Supported by large sponsors, the sister and the brother have no financial concerns and were able to create their own structure. Meanwhile, within the national team, the Federation asks their ex-teammates to pay certain internships or trips.
A situation which is not really optimal but which ultimately went close to the main interested parties. On the other hand, it is another problem that is starting to disturb.
Johanna MatinTalo, 28 -year -old, echoed it in Finnish media, without taking gloves.
Kerttu Niskanen “Acts in a selfish and not very sympathetic way”. When she was young and new in the Ecoop, she probably learned a lot by training with older and more experienced girls.
But now that she is herself in this position, she is not willing to give something in return to the youngest and also contribute to the development of the team. ”
-Remarks full of common sense, easily understandable, but how to prevent Niskanen from seeing elsewhere if she finances all of her program.
The only solution could come from the federation which could prohibit Kerttu and Ivo from participating in the World Cup without being a member of the national team. But given the immense list of the Niskanen family, and the services rendered for 10 years, MatinTalo will not be listened to.
