The 28-year-old woman’s body was found this Sunday in an undergrowth on the outskirts of research zones in Vienne. After the autopsy, technical analyzes are underway to determine the causes of death.
The body of Agathe Hilairet, a missing who has been missing for more than three weeks in Vivonne (Vienne), was discovered this Sunday, May 4. According to prosecutor Cyril Lacombe, the corpse “was in an undergrowth on the outskirts of research zones”. At this point, no track is dismissed, underlines the prosecution.
An autopsy was carried out this Monday, May 5 to determine the causes of the death. “It did not allow, at this stage, to determine the causes of death,” said the prosecutor. “Several additional analyzes are underway to continue the investigations,” said the prosecutor.
Further analyzes
Radiological examinations are underway to reveal possible lesions made unnoticed during the autopsy. Toxicological analyzes are provided, in order to determine a possible ingestion, voluntary or forced, of toxic products (drugs, drugs, alcohol).
The insects present on the young woman’s body will also be the subject of an in -depth scientific analysis. These analyzes will make it possible in particular to estimate with more precision the date of death, based on the development of larvae and the species present. They can also determine whether the body has been moved or not.
No track is privileged
Other additional examinations are also provided, such as histological analyzes, which can reveal microscopic internal lesions, and genetic research, in the event that a third party is involved. All of these expertise aims to clarify the precise circumstances of the death and to guide the current investigation.
As a reminder, judicial information against X for “kidnapping and forcible confinement” has been open since April 14 (four days after the disappearance of the jogger). For the time being, no track is privileged.
