NARRATIVE – Militarily, Russia, at the cost of immense losses, has definitively broke the Hitlerian war machine. However, America has imposed its economic, political and cultural model.
The Second World War never ceased to invite itself into contemporary politics. As of last fall, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico expressed his intention to go to Moscow to the May 9 ceremonies for the 80the Anniversary of the victory of what is called, on the Russian side, the Great Patriotic War. He was followed, on April 17, by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić. These two declarations immediately aroused a warning from Kaja Kallas, a high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. “”We very clearly said that we did not want a candidate country [c’est le cas de la Slovaquie et de la Serbie] participate in these events on May 9 in Moscow »she said, asking the States to send their representatives to Kyiv, Ukraine.
