He is doing with light injuries, but he came close to death. A little before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, a motorist made a road trip, in the town of Remollo, south of Gap, in the Hautes-Alpes. The vehicle ended its race in a ravine, about fifty meters below the road. The circumstances of the loss of control of the vehicle are unknown, only involved in the accident.
Supported by the emergency services, the driver, slightly injured, was transported to Gap hospital.
The SDIS 05 firefighters dispatched several teams on site with five machines from the Serre-Ponçon, Gap, Chorges and Gandière rescue centers. Due to the difficulties, a rescue unit in perilous and mountain midfielders was also deployed with nine rescuers engaged in this intervention, said SDIS 05 in its press release.
