Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, seeded n ° 16, eliminated the Spanish Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (6-4, 7-6 [2]) and rose to the third round of the Rome tournament at the Foro Italico in Roma, Thursday at the very beginning of the evening.
Svitolina, 14th worldwide WTA, will be measured in the American qualified Hailey Baptiste during the third round of the Italian internationals.
During the previous round of the Italian tournament, Bouzas Maneiro, ranked 72nd at the WTA, needed three sets to dominate the American Ann Li (6-3, 5-7, 7-6 [3]).
