The Duchy Tennis-Club reconnects with an old tradition, the day of mixed double meetings. Saturday, May 3, fifteen teams were made up of draw the same morning, so men and women discovered their double live partner, around a coffee and breakfast offered by the club.
Each team has played no less than nine ten-minute matches in a tie-break format. Throughout the morning the rotations have been chained and the laughter of these improvised duets also punctuated the day. At the end of the meetings, at the very beginning of the afternoon, the players attacked in front of a paella.
This event, without any stakes apart from conviviality, puts the players of the legs in legs for the tournament that arrives, even if there it is only a question of matches in simple. The TDC tournament will start on Thursday May 15 and will end Sunday June 1st. Five registration categories are possible: senior ladies, from not clustered to 3/6; Over 40 years old, unclear at 15/1; senior men, from not circulated at 1/6; More than 40 years old, from not closed to 15/1 and over 55 years old, from not-circular to 15/1.
The club will offer fast food and meals on Saturday evenings to punctuate the matches. The Duchy Tennis Club awaits numerous and motivated players to share a good sporting moment.
