Sensation at the WTA 1000 in Madrid: the title of the IGA Swiatek title, 2nd in the world, was swept on Thursday by Coco Gauff, just over three weeks from Roland-Garros (May 25, June 8). The American will challenge the Aryna Sabalenka final, the world’s number 1, or the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina (17th), who compete Thursday evening on the central court.
