He could announce it tomorrow Wednesday to his colleagues from the State Council during the college meeting, then during a press conference. The reasons for this premature withdrawal during the third legislature are not known. Elected for twelve years and at the head of the territory department, many policies said it demotivated. However, his extraordinary political trajectory would not have suggested it.
The first papables are looming

Will the Greens keep their headquarters, after the bitter loss of that of Fabienne Fischer against Pierre Maudet in 2023? In recent months, the ecological party has won everywhere in Switzerland. It has lost its seats in the executives and cantonal legislative elections.
