The defendants, of which eight are still in pre - detention to , have been heard on April 11 and 16, learned the “Tribune de Genève”. On this occasion, the Geneva prosecution informed them that they are now also prosecuted to aggravated money laundering. They are indeed suspected of having “committed acts capable of hindering the identification of the origin, the discovery and the confiscation of money from said traffic.” Have they hidden their activities behind a legal business? Have they reinvested dirty money elsewhere? The current investigation will say it.

The fact remains that most detainees, including the politician, her son and her husband, dispute the charges weighing on them. “I do not understand the presence of my parents,” said the man during the hearing this month. “I am surprised by everything I hear here,” said the elected official of the Grand-Saconnex.

The Uber Eats of drugs in Geneva on Telegram

In A police report of March 20it is indicated that this network Happy Mania would flow several hundred grams of cocaine, MDMA (synthetic drug) and cannabic each week, generating significant turnover in the canton and throughout French -speaking Switzerland. This group would operate similarly to a food delivery application like Uber Eats.

According to the first investigations, customers placed their order via encrypted applications. The telephone standard, which is based on an elaborate logistics, then delivery people to make the transaction.

During the searches in various places in the canton, the investigators seized 3.18 kg of cocaine, 2.14 kilos of cannabic products, 514 Ecstasy pills, 2317 Xanax stamps, more than 50 grams of ketamine, the same amount of MDMA. They also kidnapped 115,000 francs, 8,880 euros, $ 6,170, 24 phones, eleven vehicles and eleven watches.

In the eyes of the drug brigade, the organization is as follows: a chef, lieutenants, standardists, money collectors and delivery people. The tickets seized (for around 130,000 francs in total) would represent the equivalent of one month of , according to the accounts in a trunk of the Servette.

The elected official, placed on March 19 in pre -trial detention for a period of three months as seven other defendants, is suspected of having worked as a money collector (deposited by the lieutenants) with his companion when the son of the municipal councilor was not in Geneva. Living between Geneva and Dubai, the latter would have worked as responsible for this network to the pyramidal structure.

Geneva, Nyon and Lausanne

In a meal, the investigators seized a table with specifications for employees and delivery places.

This month, standardists said in hearing that they worked in this office located at avenue de-Lusive as a telephone operator ofHappy Mania. One of them also admits having made a few deliveries over a fortnight: “I was told that I had to deliver hashish, but when I opened the bag, I saw that there were other narcotics.”

The latter accuses one of the defendants, which presents itself as a bulgarian cheese, of having prepared the prizes with cocaine: “He gave me the bag at the start of the and I brought him back at the end of the day with the unsold and the recipe. […] There were four deliverers with me. ” The latter, who declares that he did this job to repay a game debt in Lyon, believes that drugs were transported to Geneva but also to Nyonnais and Lausanne customers.

Bulgarian cheese

This standardist who maintains having been trained in this work by two of the defendants present, a Kosovar cook and a Brazilian accountant, explains that his specifications consisted in entering addresses in an Excel table, the pseudos of customers, the precise time of delivery, pricing, the of the delivery man, the product and a comment if necessary.

Another telephone operator refuses to give the name of the person who used it “for security reasons”. But he describes the operation of orders: namely that the customer writes on the Happy Mania account and that a delivery man is immediately activated. When the prosecutor hands him an accounting document, seized during the searches, with a host of abbreviations, he translated: W meant Weed, CC, Cocaine, K Ketamine, Ecstasy. 2 cb? “I don’t know”.

The Bulgarian cheese maker, suspected of being a lieutenant in this traffic, explains his presence in Switzerland only in order to develop his company of dairy products: “I travel”. He knows the son of the elected official but disputes any link with any drug trafficking: “I rented cars to him”. The man claims to have sometimes put the keys of the vehicle back to the defendant, probably when the son, who was hiring in Geneva while living in Dubai, was not there.

The Bulgarian detainee adds having offered cheese to the elected husband. Nothing more.

The latter, who, as his wife, repeats everything from the name Happy Mania, confirms that he has kept some of this famous Bulgarian cheese in his fridge. Suddenly, the prosecutor questions him about the presence of more than two kilos of cocaine in a car parked in a box, the man says he knows nothing.

The elected official, who notes in passing not to have liked the Bulgarian specialty (“I prefer cheese”), also assures that she did not take care of the work of her 36 -year -old son: “He is a man […]. I know he is intelligent, I took care of him before. I know he’s a businessman, that’s all. “

Greens flags next to the coke

As for the searched family box, the elected green used it to store party equipment, in this case thermos and flags. And the drug found in the parked vehicle? “I haven’t seen it, I can’t tell you what it is.”

The son says he has helped the Bulgarian cheese maker, “an Knowledge-Ami”, to find temporary accommodation in Geneva. The prosecutor’s magistrate questions her as follows: “How do you explain that people who seem to be involved in the Happy Mania network is circulating in the vehicles of the company?” (Editor’s note: that of car rental)? “I can’t explain it. I don’t know what people do with the vehicles I rent. ”

Note that the public prosecutor also prevention the son for violation of The Arms Actdue to the presence of two pepper sprays and a telescopic baton in a box he had in town.

Three fractures

Lawyer for one of the telephoneists, Me Patrick Bolle reacts: “My principal-whose state of health is always incompatible with his care by Champ-Dollon-has chosen to collaborate and assume his share of responsibility, rather than locating himself in the lie.”

During his hearing before the prosecutor, the accused, a report of traumatic lesions in support, said he had undergone a very muscular arrest which caused him three fractures and a post-traumatic shock.

And the elected lawyer, Me Stéphane Grossin to conclude: “At the end of these first two confrontation hearings, no concrete evidence came to overwhelm my client. A keys to one or two times (Editor’s note: at the alleged lieutenant) could, by itself, justify a different conclusion, no more than a drug seizure in a vehicle that my client does not use. Conspecting, she awaits the rest of the instruction in order to be definitively washed from any suspicion. ”

The investigation continues. All defendants are presumed innocent.
