Since April 19, the regional competitions of the Madrastna project have started in the twelve regions of Morocco. This program, carried out by the Ali Zaoua Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, aims to introduce art into colleges through two activities, namely cinema and theatrical improvisation.
Madrastna has already affected more than 300 colleges across the kingdom during local competitions. Today, 73 improvisation teams and 68 film teams, selected at the provincial level, participate in regional competitions. The goal is to choose the finalists who will meet in Casablanca at the end of May.
Each competition is supervised by a jury made up of a representative of the Ali Zaoua Foundation, a professional in the artistic field, and members of the local educational sector. This ensures a fair and professional assessment.
The Madrastna program relies on two modules. The first, cinema in class, allows students to discover films, discuss them and create their own short films. The second, devoted to theatrical improvisation, helps them to develop their imagination, their self -confidence and their team spirit.
