An ambitious renovation
The project plans to increase the capacity of Camp Nou to 105,000 places, making it the largest stadium in Europe. This expansion includes the addition of two VIP lodge rings, a 360 -degree screen and an innovative retractable roof. In addition, 30,000 m² of solar panels will be installed to supply the stage with renewable energy.
Modernized installations for supporters
Supporters will benefit from new facilities, including a renovated museum, a Skywalk offering panoramic views and an improved shop. The Palau Blaugrana, a multipurpose room with 15,000 seats, will complete this sports and cultural complex. The project also aims to triple income related to hospitality, thanks to the increase in VIP spaces.
A delay for the inauguration
Initially planned to be completed in November 2024, the project underwent delays. Hoped before the end of the season, the installation should take time, depending on the progress of the work. The club also explored the possibility of moving significant matches, such as the Clásico against Real Madrid, to other major European stadiums if necessary.
