The U18 national team in Senegal will participate in an international development tournament organized by UEFA in Switzerland, as part of the youth football promotion program implemented by the European body. This initiative aims to offer young African and European talents an enriching and trainer competition.
To prepare for this deadline, the lion cubs start an internship of preselection from May 5 to 8 at the Jules Bocandé Center in Toubab Dialaw. Twenty-five players were summoned by the national coach Pape Ibrahima Faye, responsible for constituting a competitive group capable of representing Senegal on the international scene with dignity.
This tournament is a continuation of Senegal’s efforts to strengthen its young categories, by providing them with an international experience and promoting their progress in a high -level environment. For players, this is a precious opportunity to confront other football schools and gain visibility.
With this preparation course, the technical staff aims to consolidate the achievements, refine automatisms and strengthen team cohesion, with a view to successful participation in Switzerland.
