The International Nomadic Slam Festival, organized by Hajar formed Thiam, for its third edition, on May 9 and 10, 2025, under the theme “The rise of Slam: towards the creation of an international movement”.
The event will be held at the French Institute of Senegal in Saint-Louis, an emblematic place of local cultural life.
The festival stands out as an essential platform dedicated to contemporary orality, bringing together artists, passionate and curious around poetic performances, multicultural encounters and intense sharing moments.
Among the flagship guests, the public will find Captain Alexandre, poet-tambour and major figure of the French-speaking slam.
Founding member of the collective we have slammed on the moon, this word passer celebrates the beauty of self -giving, the strength of poetic revolt and the urgency of dreaming of a world inhabited by dialogue, freedom and hope.
On the program: SLAM scenes, poetic readings, workshops, intergenerational exchanges and moments of communion around the verb. All in an open, inclusive and festive atmosphere, faithful to the spirit of the nomadic slam.
