This significant event brought together around many bishops, the president of Cerao, various prelates from neighboring countries and political and civil figures in Senegal.
Monseigneur Gueye was officially inducted as the fifth archbishop of Dakar, in a ceremony marked by Pascale joy and fervor. Due to the crowds, many followed the event from outside the cathedral.
