The FCL Rugby season ended on a note that is both intense and moving. Between a beautiful demonstration of our young hopes, a significant victory for the pennant team and farewell to club figures, this last Sunday will remain engraved in memories.
The future on the move with our hopes
Our young people launched the afternoon by facing the leader, US Tyrosse. Despite a short defeat (17-20), they delivered a courageous performance, demonstrating their potential. Half of them come straight from the junior ranks, proof that the future of the club is already being written.
A victory in the air of battle
Faced with a Federal 1 cador, our pennant team offered a remarkable intensity match. Three trials, a total commitment and a 19-10 victory which should have seal this day in style. But ten minutes from the end, the concern took over: a serious injury to Dorian Guillaume after a violent shock. The stadium froze, rugby was you. A difficult episode that reminds all of how much this sport, as magnificent as it is, has its moments of uncertainty and pain.
Frae in emotional
This Sunday was also an opportunity to salute two staff pillars who leave the club. A huge thank you to Bastien Masseboeuf and Anthony Bourgeois for their flawless commitment, their work and their passion which marked these seasons. FCL Rugby will remain open to them forever, and we wish them the best for the future.
Thank you to those who bring the club to life
Beyond players and staff, our club exists thanks to its supporters, partners and volunteers. Each week, you are there with loyalty and passion, and it is thanks to you that this adventure continues.
The season ends, but the history of FCL Rugby is only continuing. And she will still write, together.
