France.tv – on demand – Series
Put online in April 2020, at the height of the confinement made necessary by the Pandemic of Covid-19, Parliament proposed to mix pedagogy with comedy by infiltrating viewers behind the scenes of the Strasbourg institution, and by placing their steps in those of Samy Kantor, a young parliamentary assistant interpreted with a newcomer, Xavier Lacaille. Inexperienced and rascal, gaffeur but idealistic, Samy gave the series his neophyte point of view on an institution where each decision, each agreement, each compromise is the subject of negotiations as polenting as necessary.

In this sense, the series created by Noah Debré was resolutely placed on the side of democracy, a system which requires time, patience, and a certain tolerance for frustration, evidenced by the nerves of nerves of which the characters of the series were regularly, over the episodes.
Five years and four seasons later, the France Télévisions series does not come unscathed from the upheavals of world news, and Europe, in the process of butchering by the far right, has clearly lost its superb. Samy himself went to the commission if the grass was no greener. Always a little worked by his ego, he tries to push a project of European environmental “police” – soberly baptized « FBI » -, in the shadow of Valentine Cantel (Georgia Scalliet), now a European commissioner and animated by great ambitions, whose trajectory is slowly, but surely, on the dark side of the force.
