The 2030 Cup, which will organize in common with and Portugal, will help lower the unemployment rate by 4.3%, bringing it from 13.3% in 2024 to 9% in 2030.

These are the figures available by Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Enterprise, Employment and Skills, Monday during the weekly session of Parliament.

According to the daily Al Akhbarin its edition of , May 7, Sekkouri presented, in his intervention before the parliamentarians, the main objectives of the government roadmap in terms of job creation.

In this context, he said that the 2030 World Cup would create 1.45 million jobs. Regarding employment creation in other sectors, the Minister has not given any figure of any new jobs. He was content to announce that 12 billion dirhams will be invested, particularly for the benefit of averages, small and very small businesses. Another billion dirhams will be devoted, according to the Minister, to the maintenance of jobs in rural areas, not to mention two billion dirhams dedicated to strengthening the efficiency of the job promotion .

For his part, Mohamed Jawad Arselane, representative of the General Confederation of Businesses in Morocco (CGEM) and president of the Private Education Commission, seized his presence at the Imex 2025 in to welcome jobs that will be created in the wake of the Tripartite and Commune of the World Cup between Morocco, Spain and Portugal.

In an interview with the site AtalayarArselane praised the importance of basic infrastructure in Morocco, particularly the port of Tangier Med, but also the high-speed rail , connecting Tangier to Casablanca, pending that of Kenitra-, which will play an important role during the World Cup.

He added that Spain would greatly contribute to the creation of jobs in Morocco, and this through its many companies engaged in the construction of infrastructure linked to the organization of the 2030 World Cup (stadiums, communications, hotels, etc.), in anticipation of the reception of thousands of supporters and tourists from around the world.

Arselane concluded that Spanish companies also had important investment opportunities in the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region. With the new facilities granted to the foreign investor, these companies will also contribute to boost, in the long term, employment in this northern region.
