The Lions supported the Alice association and the little warriors.
The painful gusts will have neither extinguished the smiles nor disturbed the party during the 5 rugby tournament organized by the Lions Club Le Soler, for the benefit of the Alice association and the small warriors for the second consecutive year. Thirteen teams set foot on the lawn of the Cerdagne stadium: a constant increase in editions. The tournament was won by the Elite Concept preparation team.
Beyond this result, it is to remember from this day the festive and relaxed atmosphere which reigned and the involvement of the members of the Lions Club who put all the assets on their side so that this meeting is synonymous with success.
Chaired by Chantal Dolis, the Lions Club du Soler is made up of a dozen members. He is involved, in relation to the municipalities of Têt and Riberal, in helping the poorest, sick children, people with Alzheimer’s disease. The development of culture and environmental protection are also part of its fields of action. He also engages in struggles carried out at national and international level by lions: diabetes, relief of hunger, pediatric cancer, vision.
Finally, he carries out sporting actions, such as this 5th, cultural, festive rugby tournament. These make it possible to collect funds entirely donated later to local, national or international associations.
